the 500 pips SL you'll see in my positions are the default provided by Zulutrade for each position I open using their trading system. Since I trade manually and monitor each position since I open it until the moment I close it I usually won't change it. looking in my stats you'll see the worst DD I had for a single trade is 206 pips. I will rarly get there as you'll see in my history but it can happen in the future. So I would say setting 250 pips as a SL would do the job (don't forget to manage your money properly according to that). Good luck!
